The story of a new town, a garden city, an old village, a historic house, the farms and the countryside in a Hertfordshire Parish
(by Hatfield W.E.A.)
A series of 13 booklets (plus cumulative index) about the history of Hatfield. When the series was originally published over fifty years ago, it was rightly regarded as an exceptionally authoritative and informative work, and has remained unchallenged as the primary source of reference for anyone interested in the history of Hatfield.
Members of Hatfield Local History Society undertook this re-issue in 2014, adding an index to each volume and with a separately printed cumulative index for the series.
The series comprises 14 booklets (A5 size), which may be purchased individually at £5 each – or buy the set and get 3 free (£55 the set, reduced from £70).
