Members  of the Society spent many months going through the  Parish Magazines in Hatfield Library and the Saint Etheldreda’s Church office, (with the kind permission of Father Darren Collins) to photograph the letters. There are quite a few magazines which are missing from that time what information they contained about the war is lost forever.
